VENDOR MANAGED INVENTORY

Vendor Managed Inventory or VMI is a service program to facilitate the logistical needs of our customers. With any manufacturing and distribution network it’s imperative to reduce the number of human touches a product or part has to minimize cost and maximize profit.

In certain circumstances it is mutually beneficial for Accubeam to manage the warehousing and logistics of products for our customers. This is often the case where shipping cost are prohibitive either because the unit cost of the products is very low, i.e., promotional goods or the products are larger and more difficult to ship easily.

VMI is also an exceptional alternative for customers that want to focus on their core business and selling activities and let a professional logistical operation provide the service for them.

Accubeam’s VMI Facility

Accubeam’s VMI facility is a 12,000 square foot secure building conveniently located adjacent to the our main Laser Operations. All product is controlled through a strict internal process and customer product is completely segregated for security purposes. The Accubeam VMI process is seamless to your customer, packing list and shipping documents will bear your company’s information only.
